HMV Newcastle!

Well today is was surreal and exciting!!! I dropped off some copies of A Little Louder at HMV Newcastle this afternoon - you can now pick up a copy in store.

I’ve browsed their CD racks since I was a littl’un and always secretly wished I’d make it here one day, so it felt a bit crackers to hear the album over the sound system and to get my own little space on the racks! Whaaaaat?!!! There’s a label with my name on it and everything!

I made a little video to send to my parents and tell them - definitely a proud Dad moment, he’s chuffed that I’m in the company of Led Zeppelin amongst others! And it’s been so lovely to hear kind words from so many friends - one of my favourites was a high school mate who got in touch and was reminiscing about when we used to spend hours in HMV browsing posters and CDs as teenagers - this happened most weekends, and I’d daydream about a music career and the far off possibility of seeing an album of my own in there.

It’s funny how life turns out - it feels like a really special moment that wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support of so many family, friends, teachers and music scene legends. A massive thank you to everyone who has shown love and support that helped me get to this point. Onwards and upwards, I hope to make you all proud!
